2013 is the year for : road racing early summer to build up to my nemesis the Marmotte in July. Mountain biking late summer and trail running year round. Getting back to skiing Back Country and climbing for relaxation !
Leigh is a very focused and driven lady with a full calender of running events this season. Starting off with the Trail des Glaisins in April - 29km and 1600 metres climbing, she will culminate with the maxi race, an off road marathon with over 3000 metres of climbing . The Annecy Triathlon follows, then the classic Ancilevienne run cycle team event around lake Annecy... Whew!!
Jay works hard and plays hard. Since early childhood days on his BMX to riding the mountain bike trails where he grew up in New Zealand, he has had a passion for outdoor activities. He has spent his life searching for adventures in multisport : wake boarding, snowboarding, climbing, running and cycling, he has travelled the world through the Americas, Asia, Nth Africa, Europe, and the UK. Now Jay and his family are based in the mecca of Lake Annecy in the Alps to live and breath 'it'... Bring it on!
Angela a mad sports women her whole life, is loving the adventure life in Annecy. She cycled the length of South America, has competed in many different sports at a high level such as road cycling and Hockey. Two kiddies cant hold her back as she prepares for the Annecy Marathon and Etape cyclo sportif in July.
Silas has been a full time coach since graduating from his Sports Science degree in 2000 and has specialised in coaching all Endurance type events. A mad keen sportsman himself he has competed in the World championships in triathlon, and bike raced UCI one stage races and UCI Tours. Lately he's been ripping it up on the ski slopes but is now back in serious cycle training mode with a full season of events lined up.
With a background as a professional long course triathlete, Christine is now heading back to her roots as a mountain guide in Australia. Taking a break from racing triathlon this year, she is using her fitness in her mountain playground in a broader range of ways from chasing her kids down the mountains on skis in winter to chasing her dog up the same mountains in summer. Competitively, despite still loving to swim, ride and run, she is now taking on cross country skiing and trail running for something different
